Local user groups are a great way to meet with friends, colleagues, students, and professionals who are passionate about Unity and game development. Unity’s User Group Program aims to provide members a safe space to inspire, educate, and connect with other local Unity enthusiasts.
Code of conduct
The Unity User Group Program is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or technical expertise. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
Be respectful and considerate towards others.
Communicate openly and professionally, fostering an inclusive environment.
Collaborate and help others learn and grow.
Value diverse opinions and experiences, and seek to understand them.
Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion.
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, photography or recording without consent, or sustained disruption of discussions or events.
Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, personal or political attacks, or unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
Scope
This code of conduct applies to all user group spaces, both online and offline, including meetings, events, social media, and communication channels (e.g., Slack, forums, mailing lists).
Acknowledgment
By participating in the Unity User Group Program, you agree to abide by this code of conduct and its enforcement. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the user group's activities.
